2. Approach
A quick solution for a complex role
The Country Head, Didier De Vos reached out to Altesia’s Client Relationship Director, Dimitri Hunin.
The role was demanding. In Belgium, Glory has a local team that operates under the structure and demands of a global group. This meant that the Finance manager had to combine the complexity of a global reporting environment with the agility required in a lean local team, calling for someone both hands-on and able to handle cross-functional demands.
Straight away, Dimitri was able to suggest a qualitative profile, directly available: the first consultant was onboarded. He stepped into the role of Financial controller Belgium.
“Normally, the Finance Manager used to handle recruitments in his own team. But when he left, I took matters into my own hands together with our HR Manager. And thanks to Altesia, we got results fast. In less than a week, we had someone in place, skilled, available, and ready to take over. That level of responsiveness made all the difference”, says Didier De Vos, Country Head at Glory Belgium.
Progressively scaling up support
As the mission advanced, opportunities emerged to enhance team structure, clarify responsibilities, and implement a solid plan for process optimization.
Two other Altesia consultants were progressively brought in:
- Marie, a proactive junior consultant, established and documented key internal processes while providing operational support.
- Tine replaced the accountant on long term sick leave.
